His song "In Tyrannis" made me understand how horrible the simple method of sleep deprivation is. Its about an innocent man that gets incarcerated and tortured by sleep deprivation. The song describes the torture and his thought process, in the end he is willing to confess anything, whatever they want to hear, just to end it. A very quiet, but powerful song, and it is very saddening to know that this is done in many countries all around the world.

"Ä, Ö. Ü" is simple to understand, its just "AE, OE, UE", thats all. Other difference In German compared to English would be that we pronounce an "I" usually like an "E". We in the German language usually use "EI / AI" if we want to pronounce it like an English "I". Of course there are always exceptions like in the English language, but thats usually the case Other letters that are different would be the "U", we usually never pronounce it like an "A" and we roll the "R", we never dont pronoucne it like in English, its always very prominent. We also pronoucne the "Z" very harsh instead of soft. Iam not a teacher, its just observation so dont take it for 100% but overall ... As addition to the real training material or even as replacement. Fun fact: The narrator really is known for narrating a show called "der 7. Sinn" (the 7th sense), a long-running traffic safety show in German television from 1966 to 2005.

The video was not made for safety training and it is not used as official video in any traing. It is a short splatter movie from the end ogf the 90's that references training vidoes of the 80s. I saw an interview with the guy hwo played Klaus. He was there because who was allowed to drive a fork lift. he said they had only tow guys on set who ould do it and one was a worker from the storage facility where it was filmed. And he would not do this movie again. Main reason because of the very tight budget they used pig blood instead of theater blood and he said the filming with pig blood was the worst experiance he ever made as an actor. He got it everywhere and all he could taste the whole day was the iron from the blood. But besides this the filming was very professionell, every thing was scripted, every text, every movement, every facial expression. The "bad" camera and grafics are so on porpose.

There are better things from Loriot. This is VERY old, you can hear it. And I have to admit that it is difficult to laugh about it as a non German. But this "Ja, wo laufen sie denn?" (Where are they going) is kind of cult (do you say so?) here, at least among the older ones, it became a saying. There are many more sayings that developed out of Loriot's comedy, like " Früher war mehr Lametta" and maaany more. But again, I am sorry, but you simply CANNOT understand. I saw him live at the Hockenheim racing track in 2008 (!?) ... with over 100,000 people attending it was one of my biggest concert ever! This is an unplugged song, but maybe you want to watch him with his band when he was much younger!? A lot of power an energy ... rock'n'roll!
